Buongiorno! Our first full day with the girls. Awake at 05:00, not because I had to be but because I was done sleeping. Tiziana was up about 06:00, however the girls continued to sleep until just after 07:00. Tiziana left about 07:30 and Mary got up to help me with the girls.

We made the girls breakfast. Luisa did want to eat her yogurt and fruit, but she did eat most of my scrambled eggs. She loves eating my food more than her own. Mary let Luisa watch Utube on her iPad and I sat with Amadea in the living room. Gloria came about 09:00 and took over. Honestly, I went back to sleep.

About 11:00 I got up again and we took over from Gloria as she had an appointment at 11:30. But don’t worry she came back about 13:30. We left just after she came back and went for a walk. We weren’t overly hungry but knew we needed to get something to eat. We remembered the Capatoast shop just a few blocks away. We have passed it several times on Via Po and wanted to try it so we headed there.

Mary ordered the GIGA Burger. A double hamburger, bacon, salsa, cheddar cheese and ketchup between two slices of toasted bread. I order the Boomer+ which is 100 grams of cooked prosciutto and premium cheese (not sure what type, the menu just said premium cheese) between two slices of tasted bread. Mary had a lemon iced tea while I had a Coke Zero. All for less than €25. We had enough to take some home for dinner.

On the way back to Serra’s we stopped at the Borello supermarket and picked up some Fontana cheese to put into the polenta which will be come dinner. There is some chicken filets in the refrigerator which I will cook up. There are also a number of vegetables, so we had everything else for dinner.

We picked up a few other things as well, like soap for washing the clothes, lemon iced tea for Mary, and some more English Breakfast tea for me. Then we walked back to Serra’s. Upon our return we both took a short nap before Gloria returned with the girls.

We got up and started dinner. Tiziana arrive at 18:00 and we finished cooking dinner and sat in the kitchen and ate. After dinner Tiziana got the girls ready for bed. It was just after 21:00 that it was lights out and everyone was asleep.

A successful first day. No stress no worry.
