Friday. Good news, nothing planned for day, except taking the grandchildren to Scheels in Overland Park for some shopping. They don’t need Christmas when their grandparents are around. Several thousand dollars later we are leaving the store. Now, they want lunch. We finally settle on Spin Piazza. I let them do that and sat in the car. I had no interest in piazza.

After lunch Mary, Harry V and George head out to do a little Christmas shopping for the family in Italy. However, it turns out George wasn’t feeling well, so they cancelled it. Mary when back to the apartment and finished up the broth she was making. I stayed at the house and just relaxed.

Just after 17:00 I picked Mary up and we went to the market. We needed some more milk for our morning cappuccini. Mary wanted a few other things. Two grocery bags later we headed back to the apartment. Ok, it is a residence inn, not an apartment, but it has a small kitchen with a stove and oven.

I put a Marie Calendar chicken pot pie in the oven for myself. Mary had an English muffin with jam. I watched some Jag on my iPad. Then it was bedtime. Not an eventful day, but an expensive one. Paid for the remainder of the Japan cruise in April. Talked to Mike on the phone for about an hour. That’s all folks.
