Sailing the North Pacific Ocean
In the morning we were approximately 100 miles south of the island of Hawai’i. We are south of the Tropic of Cancer and North of the Equator. The sea is apparently somewhat agitated and is expressing it with six to eight feet swells. The wind is whipping around the ship at 25 mph with gusts up to 40. The sound of the logs banging against the hull of the ship is continuing with regularly.
Sea sickness has returned. This time it is just me. We did manage to go to the sit & be fit class this morning. Mary has gone off to a cooking demonstration. We had lunch on the pool deck. Nothing complicated, and not much of it.
We went to the music review at 6 in the Horizon Lounge. It was very nice. Afterwards we went to dinner, again at the pool grill. Just a very light dinner. We gambled for a few minutes before retiring to the room.
Nothing interesting to report. The day was spent sleeping more than anything else. Only three more days before we site land again. So, looking forward to it.
