Puntarenas, Costa Rica

We had a series of texts with Mike and Maddie who went to Puntarenas earlier this month and did the Zip-Line adventure. They said it was very hot and humid and lots of bugs. They recommended that we should skip the Zip-Line if we weren’t completely up to par. Well, unfortunately, Mary is still a bit under the weather, so we turned in our tickets to the Zip-Line this morning. There were a couple people on the waiting list so someone was able to go in our place.

The day was spent sleeping and working on feeling better. I went to the morning stretch class. Boy oh boy did I get stretched out. Given my performance in class I will have to go more often. Maybe not every day. Who knew yoga could be so much work. After the class Mary was still resting so I went and did my three miles on the treadmill. Still able to keep the time just under an hour so that was great.

There weren’t any lectures to attend because most people were ashore. So, we just chilled out today. Did our laundry. We simply aren’t willing to give the toast to the butler to do. Probably not taking full advantage of all the services available. Perhaps we are simply to unsophisticated for some things.

We took a simple dinner at the pool grill; lamb chops and baked potatoes. It was a simple relaxing day. You need one of those every once in a while.

Buonanotte e Ciao, Enrico
