A day of rest and recuperation. In the morning, I left Mary sleep in. I went out and got a few things from the market. Actually, went to four different markets looking for the yogurt we like. Didn’t find it but found some that will work.

We played cards, napped and just too it easy. We walked to Serra’s for aperitivo about 17:00. We stopped at the market and got a few things for the aperitivo. Stopped at Luiset again this time for salame and a crostata. We got two types of salami; a traditional and coppa. The crostata was an apple.

We got to Serra’s laid out the feast on the kitchen table and just sat and talked. Everything was really good. Serra had been shopping today as well. She had picked up some melon that was really good, especially when coupled with the prosciutto we got the day before.

It was after 19:00 when we left. We decided it was too cold, and wet to walk back, so I ordered a taxi on the app. It was €11 for the ride back to the apartment, but worth every cent. The app makes taking the taxi so easy.

Had a cup of tea, worked on the blog and then called it a night. Tomorrow we are on duty again as Serra and Pietro need to go to a meeting with the contractor and architect in Sondrio. Hopefully they won’t be too late. We need more time to recuperate than one day.

The weather isn’t helping. It looks like it will rain for the next week.
