Torino, Italia

Day two in our little apartment. We puttered  are round in the morning still packing for what we are leaving and what we are taking to Tanzania. Shouldn’t be such a difficult thing. We are only allowed on 20 kg soft sides bad and one 5kg carry one. However, we do what to make sure we take only what we need and leave the rest here. Just can’t seem to prevent over packing.

Went back to Officina del Caffè Torino for our morning cappuccino and a fresh brioche. Then walked o PAM and picked some yogurt and things. Mary took one of the “extra” suitcases back to Serra’s. This was the one which was full of things for her and the girls and is now empty. I worked on some health insurance issues, getting prescriptions filled, and letting Heather know when to pick them up. I did take another nap. Still tired, but feeling a bit better.

I decided to walk down to Via Roma where the Bialetti store is located and see if I can get a new silicon ring for our six tazza moka pot in San Carlos. They didn’t have any in stock and directed me to order it on the internet. I did go back to their site and try to do that, but I couldn’t order what I needed. So I did go to Amazon and ordered one and had it sent to San Carlos, no need to carry it around.

Later in the afternoon Mary and I went back to Serra’s. We played with the girls and then headed back to the apartment. Last chance to get the packing right. Up and on the road again in the morning.

About 8 we walked back to the apartment, stopping at McDonald’s for a quick bit before continuing on to the apartment and calling it a night. Feeling less tired but still feeling a little old.
