Torino, Italia
Buongiorno! Yesterday was a big day, so today is a quite one. We did a lot of planning for the trip to Legnano on Monday and Tuesday next week with Damilia. We played cards and then decided to do out for a walk and lunch. We walked back to the old Roman quarter. There we found a nice little restaurant called Da Pappino. The restaurant is located in the shop were, in the late 1800s, were small shops that were called `La Contrada dei Guardainfanti` (these small shops made and sold large bell-shaped frames that women wore under their dresses). In 1960, Peppino, father of the current owner Francesco, thanks to his work and passion, immediately transformed it into a meeting point for famous actors and singers who had elected it as their favorite restaurant after theater shows or concerts in the area. Today, Francesco continues that tradition in the name of quality and courtesy.
It was very nice. I ordered the calzone and a mixed salad. Damilia had a pizza. It was way too much food. Afterwards we went and visited Lulu and family. Then went home to bed.
Buonanotte e ciao, Enrico e Maria
