Siena, Italia

Good morning. It is a low of 2° C (38° F) and a high of 15° C (59° F). The temperature doesn’t however say it all.  The wind was blowing something fierce, which simply took it all down a notch. Mary wasn’t feeling good this morning, so she opted out of going to school.

At 11 I called and couldn’t reach Mary So I headed back to the apartment. Really too bad actually as I was just starting to get the concept of the passato prossimo tense of verbs. Or, at least I thought I was. Mary had just gotten up when I arrived back at the apartment. She still wasn’t feeling well, so I went to the store and bought a bottle is fizzy water.

We had a bowl of brodo with tortellini for lunch. Took a nap. The rest of the day was spent just taking it easy. We took a good nap. Mary was starting to feel better. I went out for a walk just because I needed to get some exercise.

We stayed home and had a light dinner. Then it was time to call it a night. By the time I went to bed Mary was feeling ok. We’ll probably go to school tomorrow.
