Torino, Italia

Serra and Pietro had to go to Sondrio this morning. The furniture from Sonoma was arriving. The house in Castione was supposed to be done, it still has to be started, something about an easement for power is holding it up. All of this is tangential.

At 07:00 we were at their house to take care of the girls so they could leave. Gloria would be here at 09:00 and then take Luisa for her swimming lesson. Amadea wasn’t in any mood to nap or even close her eyes. So it was rock the baby, cuttle and just spend time with her. It was great.

Gloria and Luisa came back about 13:00. We stayed a little while before leaving for McDonalds and a quick lunch before returning to our AirB&B for a well-deserved nap. It would be 16:00 before we stirred. We got a text from Serra saying the people with the moving van got stuck in the mud and that their return would be delayed. She asked if we could go back and watch the girls when Gloria left at 18:00. Sure.

We were back at Serra’s by 17:30. Amadea was asleep in the stroller. Luisa wanted the iPad, which Nonna carefully left at the AirB&B. Yes, Nonna is nuts! A little before it had gone 18:00 Amadea woke up. We feed them, changed them and got them ready for bed.

It would be close to 20:00 before Serra and Pietro managed to get back. We chatted for a few minutes then went home. Nonna got a gelato on the way. I fixed nonna a cup of tea when we got back to the AirB&B and got ready for bed. By 21:00 I was in bed ready to go to sleep.

The next thing I knew was that it was 04:00. Slept soundly.
