Another day at sea on the SS Mariner and still heading to Bermuda

You can still hear the wind blowing outside on the deck. Deck 12 is closed this morning due to those winds. There is a Little Rock-n-roll due to the wind, but it wasn’t bad. We went to breakfast in the La Veranda.

After breakfast we went downstairs to the card room and play canasta while they refreshed our room. We were back at La Veranda for lunch.

We worked on planning our trip in May with V & Ali. Just a couple weeks but basically for the opportunity to introduce Ali to the Italian branch of the family. Ok, it is also an opportunity to go to Verona and attended the 2027 season of Opera at Arena d’Verona. Aida, Carmen, Romeo e Giulietta, and La Traviata. Something I have wanted to do for several years. Now it is coming down to logistics of making it possible.

Dinner was in the speciality restaurant Prime 7 – The steakhouse. It is probably the same kitchen and same cooks, but some who it always tastes better. Mary had the prime rib, and I had a New York steak. The hit of the evening is the speciality dessert here – the popcorn sunday. It is a favorite.
